Goals:The challenge was to reinvent the Coral do Cerrado website, which accumulated more than a decade of history on countless pages, making it difficult to absorb its rich content. The main goal was to create a single landing page that offered a seamless reading experience, allowing fans and potential hires to explore the choir's history, achievements and collection without distractions.
Contributions:As a web designer, my task was to simplify and improve the Coral do Cerrado online experience. To achieve this, we adopted a minimalist design approach, keeping the focus on the content. We integrated image galleries with text to provide visitors with an immersive experience, allowing them to explore the collection of past presentations and events. Additionally, we included video elements, testimonials and links to media stories (radio, TV, newspapers and magazines) to enrich the narrative and highlight the choir's achievements.
Creative Solution:The new Coral do Cerrado page offers a linear and engaging narrative, allowing visitors to follow the coral's story continuously, with a beginning, middle and end. The integration of visual and media elements enriches the experience, providing a dive into the choir's past and present. The agile update capability is designed to allow new information and layers to be added without compromising the fluidity of the site.
Results:The new Coral do Cerrado website is a celebration of history and art, presented in a simplified and engaging way. Choosing not to develop a responsive version for mobile devices or other screens is a unique approach that keeps the focus on the desktop experience. The page offers visitors the opportunity to explore a decade of achievements in a straightforward and cohesive way, while maintaining a minimalist design that complements the choir's aesthetic. This unique approach highlights Coral do Cerrado as an institution of historical and artistic importance, attracting both loyal fans and potential collaborators.
